Glenn Wilde, senior sales advisor at ABS Holdings, has finally completed his often-postponed parachute jump in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Wilde chose the charity after discovering that a child at the nursery where his twins are enrolled had been diagnosed with the disease. He, along with the boy’s father and another 20 parents, decided to raise funds for the cause with a sponsored parachute jump.
“What a rush!” said Wilde after the event. “After months of delay due to inclement weather and plane malfunction, I finally got to jump. We flew to 10,000 feet and then it was all downhill from there. An amazing feeling and I would recommend it to anyone.”
