Celebrity Geordie duo and reality TV stars Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle and Charlotte Cosby – who have previously promoted Skins Condoms – have now launched a range of smart sex toys. KNKY is said to be the world’s first his and hers heated interactive vibrator range – controllable from a smartphone and able to connect people remotely, wherever they are in the world – and it is currently the subject of a £100,000 Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
Gaz and Charlotte have shares in the KNKY range and KNKY developer Brian Elgy said: “The sex toy market is growing so quickly that a recent article said that vibes are outselling mobile phones! At KNKY we wanted to connect the world in a more unique way with the smart vibe range. Once connected, users can engage with each other via chat and vibe control or via video chat. Those going solo can use the control panel to manually control every function, or purchase add-ons and programmes to enhance the experience and make it different every time. The KNKY app will hold the user profile, private contact list and list of connected devices, creating a network like no other.”
There are six toys available in various colours within the heated KNKY range – two wearable – and the rest have interchangeable heads, additional sleeves and accessories.
“Nobody has more sex than me,” said Gaz, “so getting involved in designing a range of sex toys was an easy decision. However, it’s no replacement for the parsnip.”
Charlotte added: “KNKY is a mint business venture for me – and one I am buzzing to be involved with. After all, it’s a product that’s conceived, designed, developed and produced all in the north-east.”
