As part of its ongoing battle against those who produce counterfeit versions of its products, Fleshlight has put together a downloadable guide for retailers and distributors. The guide highlights the main differences between genuine and fake products, starting with the choice of material – genuine Fleshlights are created from the firm’s own patented Super Skin material while counterfeits can be made from plastic, silicone and other substances. The guide also covers security seals, packaging, lube samples and even how the product is positioned within the carton – so retailers and distributors should now be able to tell at a glance if the product they have been supplied is genuine or not.
The company said: “Fleshlight works hard against counterfeiting and we actively enforce our intellectual property rights. We are counting on [retailers and distributors] to stop selling Fleshlight fakes and that is why we would like to advise you how to detect counterfeits.”
