Baci Lingerie has announced it will open its first Mono Brand store in October 2011 at the St David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff. The 700 sq ft store will be adjacent to The Perfume Shop and opposite new health and beauty retailer E-Cosway which opened last month. It will be the first of 50 stores planned for the brand across the UK.
Baci Lingerie’s UK distribution partner is ABS Holdings and MD Symon Reeves said: “We are delighted to be opening the first Baci Mono Brand store at St Davids – the centre is performing very well, a key consideration for us in the present economic climate. We believe our outstanding price point coupled with a stunning location will provide us with the ideal platform to launch our exciting brand to the consumers of Cardiff.”
Baci was launched in the UK in February this year and ABS say the brand is currently being stocked by over 100 independent and High Street retailers, including Next, Littlewoods, Allders and Bentalls, plus online stores such as Very.co.uk and Base.com. There are plans to open 3,000 Baci Mono Brand stores worldwide in the next six years.
