Eroticon 2018 sponsors and speakers finalised

The organisers of erotic writing conference Eroticon have announced the final speakers for the event, and have also reported that stand sponsorship is sold out. Eropartner Distribution, MysteryVibe, Fetish.com, Sextoys.co.uk, LoveGivr, and Bijoux Indiscrets join the sponsor roster for Eroticon 2018, which will be held in Arlington House, Camden, on the 17th/18th March 2018.

The speaker line-up includes a host of well-known sex educators, erotic writers, and other experts from across the world and talks cover a breadth of topics designed to help erotic creatives hone their skills and promote their work – engaging with the public and driving forward the conversation about sex.

The new sponsors join Sheets of San Francisco, Hot Octopuss, Doxy and ElectraStim. Alongside meeting the Eroticon attendees and showing off their products, sponsors will be participating in demos and workshops throughout the weekend, getting to know key influencers in the sex and relationships world and sharing their own knowledge – MysteryVibe will be speaking on the Future of Sex panel, Fetish.com is running a workshop on SEO for bloggers, and ElectraStim and Sheets of San Francisco will be hosting ‘hands on’ demos for attendees to learn more about their products. Eropartner Distribution will be sponsoring the Saturday night event, to promote its clitoral stimulator Zumio.

Veronica Farmer, chief experience officer of Zumio, said: “Being part of Eroticon is important to us as we venture deeper into the global marketplace. We have been nurturing a very organic and grassroots brand awareness through providing bloggers with Zumios for reviews. We’ve had overwhelming positive responses to the Zumio experience. And, we understand the uniqueness of the product requires some explanation at first to comprehend, but once you try it – you will get it! Many of Zumio’s bloggers are believers and advocates for Zumio. For Zumio, bloggers are an important community of influencers that we want to engage with and listen to.”

Elsa Viegas, designer and co-founder of Bijoux Indiscrets, said: “I am really excited about being part of Eroticon. It is an amazing opportunity to meet so many people I admire and follow on social media. It is also a privilege to be face to face with them and introduce them our new collections… after all they are the ones supporting us and betting on our brand, presenting it to their followers. I can’t wait to be there!”

Dean Farebrother of SexToys.co.uk said: “Blogs and social media play a crucial part of modern business in this day and age and it’s probably even truer for our industry as it’s a brilliant and fun way to communicate with our customers. Social media is essential for the promotion of any brand, but it also provides a great platform to educate, inform and therefore empower consumers. We cherish our relationship with the blogger community as they are doing the very important job of aiding customers in making decisions and guiding them through the busy marketplace. It is vital to invest in the future of this form of media and for this reason SexToys.co.uk is grateful for the opportunity to sponsor Eroticon.”

Calandra Balfour, CEO of LoveGivr, said: “LoveGivr is extremely excited to be sponsoring Eroticon 2018. We look forward to working with all the talented bloggers, authors, companies and of course the individuals within the adult creative community, who work tirelessly to educate, entertain, and bring sex-positivity to the masses.”

Recently-announced speakers include bestselling author and TV sex and relationships expert Annabelle Knight, who will be sharing her knowledge on the changing landscape of sex in the mainstream media, and Kendra Holliday who runs The Beautiful Kind blog giving tips on how to navigate the crossover between sex writing and the real world. Other new speakers include sex educators Meg-John Barker and Justin Hancock, authors of Enjoy Sex: How, When and If You Want To, editorial consultant Cressida Dowling, queer disabled sex worker Miss Eve E, sex toy reviewer Emmeline Peaches, and Polish sex-positive influencer Natalia Grubizna. They join the long list of influential bloggers and educators already announced on the Eroticon speakers’ page.
