Erotica goes ticketless

To combat touts and to tackle the problem of counterfeit tickets the organisers of Erotica have announced that this year’s event will be ticketless. The company has appointed Ticketscript, described as Europe’s fastest growing provider of online and mobile ticketing solutions, as its agent for Erotica 2011 sales.

Ticketscript provides a plug-and-play ticketshop to support the selling of e-tickets and mobile tickets. Visitors will buy tickets online via Erotica’s website. At point of sale, visitors are asked for an email address or mobile number. Barcode tickets are sent via email to be printed off at home, or via text directly to mobile numbers. These barcodes can be swiped directly from mobiles by scanners at the show entrance.
