Erotica 2013 dates and venue announced

Clear your diaries between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th October 2013 as Erotica, the UK’s adult lifestyle and retail consumer event, is returning to London after taking a break in 2012. It has moved from its traditional home at Olympia in the west to Tobacco Dock in the east of town.

The venue is a series of 19th century warehouses converted into exhibition and conferences halls, ranging from 100m2 to 500m2, plus a 1100m2 event space – one of the largest rooms in London. It opened as an events site in 2012 and was used for the 2012 London Tattoo Convention in September.

Erotica 2013’s dates are a little earlier in the year than the event’s previous ‘end of November’ setting, but still well-positioned to make the most of that all-important pre-Christmas trade, with the bonus of extra daylight for travellers. With a pretty, picturesque venue just a ten minute walk from Tower Bridge – and with on-site parking for 800 cars too (no Congestion Charge in London on weekends) – there are high hopes the change of location to a more economical venue will revitalise Erotica by attracting new exhibitors as well as stalwarts, and that consumers will be reengaged by the event’s relaunch.

Erotica joins the industry calendar in an already quite hectic month, with eroFame running between 9th – 11th and Venus between 17th – 20th. More details of Erotica 2013 will be featured in the March issue of ETO.
