EDC Wholesale scoops second consecutive Fast 50 nomination

For the second year in a row, EDC Wholesale has been nominated for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands. The wholesaler grew by almost 300% in 2017 compared to the previous year and thus secured a place on the list. On 4th September, the participating companies were notified that they had been nominated and on 11th October the ranking of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 will be officially announced. The nominees will then be told on what position they have ended in the list.

In 2017 EDC Wholesale finished in 43rd place with a growth of 243%, SoundCloud from Eindhoven scooped 1st place with a growth of 5463%. Participants of the Fast 50 automatically stand a chance of winning a spot in the EMEA Fast 500, which provides an overview of the 500 fastest growers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Eric Idema, EDC founder and CEO, expressed his delight at the nomination, adding: “Our company still has sufficient potential to continue to grow in the coming years.”
