Doxy recruits Eroticon founder for online erotic fiction initiative

Doxy has launched a new erotica publishing project for its website, and authors whose work is chosen will earn £100 payment for their stories. Submissions are open throughout the month for publication on the last Monday of the following month.

Doxy director Will Garland commented: “People read erotica to get in the mood for a wank, so putting erotica on a sex toy site seemed like a natural fit. We’ve always had a great relationship with sex bloggers and erotica writers so being able to give them a space to get their work seen is a great way to show our support for the community.”

Doxy has recruited Ruth Douglas of Imp Ideas, also known as Ruby Kiddell, the founder of Eroticon, to help develop, promote and manage the project. She said: “I’m thrilled to be back working on an erotica project, especially with such a great company as Doxy. The erotica writing community is full of a huge variety of talent and creativity and I’m really looking forward to reading the first submissions. We’ve had nothing but good feedback so far, and fingers crossed that will continue.”

The project was launched with a weekly story showcasing some of Doxy’s favourite authors, the first one being Machine, by Girl on the Net. Submissions for the July story are open now and close at the end of June. Full details can be found at www.doxymassager.com/blog/erotica-at-doxy
