The team behind the Doxy Massager have been shortlisted for the Western Morning News Manufacturer of the Year category in the publication’s annual awards which celebrate the best of business in the South West (from Bristol to Lands End) of the UK.
Based in Callington, Cornwall, CMG Leisure, manufacturers of the Doxy products were nominated after a local journalist visited the factory and the resulting video went viral. The awards cite the ‘Made in Britain’ stamp as a mark of quality, innovation, and design, and Doxy co-founder William Garland [pictured] commented: “The nomination is totally unexpected and all the more gratifying because of that. We’re up against Princess Yachts and Rittal, an IT systems manufacturer, so it’s quite a diverse competition. The nomination is a fantastic recognition for the whole team at CMG and Doxy and we couldn’t be more proud.”
The awards event takes place on 22nd November in Plymouth.
