COTR has appointed Dr. Alix Agar, LMFT, CST, to its Medical and Therapeutic Advisory Board, reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing sexual wellness through clinical expertise and education.
“We are honoured to welcome Dr. Alix Agar to our advisory board,” said COTR founder and CEO Alicia Sinclair. “Her clinical expertise, compassionate perspective and dedication to destigmatising sexual wellness make her an invaluable addition to our team.”
A licensed marriage and family therapist, certified sex therapist, and holder of a PhD in Clinical Sexology, Dr. Agar is the founder of Big Sister Therapy in Los Angeles. Her work focuses on helping individuals and couples navigate sexual health concerns, intimacy challenges and relationship dynamics through an inclusive, client-centred approach.
“I am beyond thrilled to work with b-Vibe, Le Wand and The Cowgirl and their amazing teams to inspire individuals on a deeper level – psychologically, emotionally and within the pleasure mindset,” said Dr. Agar. “Together, we are fostering meaningful conversations and empowering people to embrace their wellness journey with confidence, joy, and connection through these innovative products.”
In her advisory role, Dr. Agar will collaborate with COTR’s leadership and product development teams, providing clinical insight into consumer needs, supporting educational initiatives, and helping shape wellness-focused messaging across the company’s brands.
Industry professionals will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Agar at Stimulate 2026, where she’ll be available at the COTR booth to discuss the clinical applications of products from their portfolio, and how they can be integrated into therapeutic practice and client care.
