Coquette reveals 2014 Kissable collection ahead of official autumn launch

Coquette International Inc. has released its 2014 Kissable collection that introduces a new line of sexy black lingerie, corsets and role-play pieces.

coquette2The Canadian lingerie manufacturer’s boxed line Kissable, which is known for its cute styles that are easy to slip into, has grown and expanded to include lingerie, costumes and dresses. This year the designers are showing off their style techniques with a black lingerie line of printed mesh and strap detailing. The pieces have both solid and sheer aspects that play together in a consistently flirty way. From a babydoll with sheer side panels, a chemise and dress with front cutouts, to three very strappy teddies.

“Kissable gives us an outlet to create very slinky sexy pieces that are well designed and priced,” said vice president of sales and marketing Marcus Horea. “The black line gives our boxed collection some new added flare that is right on trend for 2014 lingerie designs.”

Structured bustiers and corsets have also been added, something the line has not seen in the past. Tying into the Coquette main collection these pieces are representative of what the designers do best, but will include matching G-strings and accessories to remain consistent to the Kissable line.

Many of the 2014 designs offer a variety of styles to choose from with leopard, floral and swirling patterns. Included in this are several teddies that are gaining in popularity for lingerie buyers this upcoming season. Body suits and one pieces are back in fashion with individuals wearing them simply as lingerie or incorporating them into outerwear for a hint of lace effect with crop tops, high-waisted skirts and denim.

“We are seeing the use of lingerie more and more in outerwear fashions. Women are building in lingerie pieces into their outfits as they would accessories,” explained senior designer Elaine Carson. “Across all of our collections we try and offer pieces that are ideal for this such as bralettes, accessories, and teddies. Women want to have outfits that are fashionable, yet unique and personalized at the same time.”

The 2014 Kissable collection will be officially launched in Las Vegas at the International Lingerie Show this September. Retailers can look forward to the line being in-stores by early November.
