Clonezone takes leading role at London Pride

The ETO Show wasn’t the only major event taking place on the weekend of June 28th/29th as Pride took place in London, with leading gay retailer Clonezone at the forefront of the march through the city. The theme of this year’s parade was Heroes, and Clonezone chose US model and ex veteran Alex Minsky as theirs. Clonezone says that Alex is popular in the gay community due to his good looks and vocal support of gay rights. He also lost a leg in the Afghanistan war making him a true hero and inspiration to all.

Clonezone chose a big rig truck which the firm covered in branded balloons and surrounded with hot men and supporters to celebrate their hero inside, who waved to the crowd as they made their way through London. As always, the Clonezone store in Soho became an after march destination as DJ Aamyko played in-store and people partied on the street.

“This was the best London Pride yet!” said Topher Taylor, Clonezone’s marketing manager. “We had such amazing support; from our wheel stewards who volunteered through Twitter, to the amazing award winning KU Bar gang, the London Fur community, Rubber Pups, Chariots Saunas, Haus Bound Drag Collective and a selection of the hottest gay porn stars in branded Nit swimwear. Our Clonezone whistles were also a big hit and could be heard for the entire day.”

Pride in London is the city’s biggest one-day event, and one of the world’s biggest LGBT+ celebrations. Last year more than 750,000 people came along, and this year that number topped a million, for the first time ever, with the celebrations made extra special due to the sunny weather and the recent USA ruling on same sex marriage, which is now legal in all 50 states.
