Clonezone bought by Libertybelle UK

Clonezone has been bought out of Administration by Libertybelle UK, and joins the group behind the Nexus range of male G-spot toys.

Mike McCann, the Managing Director of Clonezone, who has joined the new group, commented: “We are delighted that we have been able to secure the future of Clonezone with a partner from within the industry that brings a tremendous amount of expertise in sales, marketing, toy design and manufacturing.”

The new owners will continue to trade under the Clonezone banner from four retail outlets in Soho, Earls Court, Birmingham and Manchester. It is envisaged that the current product range will be enhanced over the coming months.

The wholesale and Internet/mail-order divisions will operate as normal with terms agreed with the existing warehousing facilities provider. As such no disruption to the business is expected, as the main channels to market remain the same.

The new owners stated: “The way the deal has been structured, we believe Clonezone will have a bright future. The planned redevelopment of the shops, website and the Manzone brand will ensure that Clonezone remains at the forefront of the gay market. Our customers will experience more choice, while enjoying their shopping experience in a friendly and informative environment.”
