Clonezone appoints new head buyer

Leading gay lifestyle retailer Clonezone has announced the appointment of a new head buyer following industry veteran Scott Humphris’s move back to his home country, Australia.

Mark Lawrence [pictured], Clonezone’s current area retail manager, will be taking over the post and the company says he will bring with him a wealth of knowledge from the shop floor and beyond, making the transition as seamless as possible.

“I’m extremely sad to be leaving Clonezone and an industry I have worked in and loved for over 10 years,” said Scott. “I’d like to say thank you to my work family and also to the suppliers that have made my time here so enjoyable.”

The change will take place from the 1st October and Mark will attend eroFame in Germany in order to get acquainted with suppliers, who can contact Mark Lawrence on [email protected]

A company spokesperson said: “All of us at Clonezone would like to say a huge thank you to Scott Humphris for all his hard work over the last four-and-a-half years and we wish him lots of luck in his new life in Australia.”
