CalExotics stands with LGBTQ community

In the wake of the tragic Orlando massacre which took place earlier this month, CalExotics has donated $5,000 to the National Compassion Fund. 100% of the funds received through the National Compassion Fund are distributed directly to victims, and the fund is working closely with Equality Florida, the state’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organisation to combine efforts and ensure fair and transparent distribution of the donations received.

Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics, said: “Our hearts are heavy with the burden of sadness that we feel for all those impacted by this malicious tragedy. Our aim is not only to support the greater community, but also to assist those that have been directly impacted by this act of domestic terror.”

With this donation, CalExotics makes a pledge to stand with the LGBTQ community and against any acts of terrorism, domestic or foreign. Over the last 20 years the company has donated over $1.5 million to various organisations involving the rights of the disenfranchised and underserved, spanning gender, religious and cultural boundaries, in the hope of a creating better world.
