California Exotic Novelties has raised $20,000 in the 2012 Walk for Hope. The nine employees who participated in the five-kilometre march raised more than $9,700 between them for the charity for women’s cancers and cures. Susan Colvin, President and CEO of California Exotic Novelties, pledged to match every dollar earned, and rounded the figure up for a grand total of $20,000.
Vice president of sales, Jackie White, who was the team captain, said, “We had a great time during the Walk for Hope. The day was filled with so much love and support. Thank you to everyone on the team and to Susan for her generous matching donation!”
The event took place last Sunday in Duarte, California and participation was in the thousands, including many cancer survivors, family members, and other supporters.
“I’m so proud of our team,” Colvin said. “They’ve done an admirable job. I’d also like to thank all our dear customers and industry friends who donated money to our walkers. Your contributions are what made this all possible, thank you!”
