‘Business meets Pleasure’ at Orion’s Training Days

To celebrate Orion Wholesale’s 40th anniversary, the distributor invited a number of its customers to its headquarters in Flensburg so they could participate in training days. The event took place from 3rd to 5th November 2021 and over 60 specialist retailers from 16 countries participated.

The retailers were able to attend workshops and product trainings in small groups and given an exclusive first view of new unreleased products. They were also treated to a guided tour of the facility, which sees between 70,000–80,000 items leave the warehouse every day.

The main focus of the product training was the Anniversary Collection, a new range of toys inspired by past favourites but given a modern twist, plus guests got to see the VibePad 2 and two new toys due to hit the market in 2022: Cupa and Your New Favourite.

Orion’s product managers also gave presentations, as did representatives of Lubry, Pipedream, and Svakom.

“We are overwhelmed by all the positive reactions to this event,” said Hans-Jürgen Bähr, chief product officer (CPO) and chief sales officer B2B (CSO) at Orion. “We have created the Orion Training Days to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We wanted to emphasise our main principle, ‘Business meets Pleasure’, and also wanted to meet our customers in real life again. This is because a stimulating conversation is particularly productive and sustainable in a personal and pleasant setting. The event was a complete success and it will surely be repeated in the future.”
