Blush Novelties is set to celebrate both Earth Day and Arbor Day this year with its latest promotion, by pledging to plant up to two trees for all vendors of its Gaia range of vibrators. Participants must send a link to the products on their respective online catalogue and/or send a picture of them in their bricks and mortar store, with each action securing one tree per company.
Launched in September 2016, the Gaia range is said to be the first ever selection of biodegradable sex toys. The material used is BioFeel, a bioplastic polymer compound mixed with corn starch. It’s nonporous and will biodegrade within 47-90 days in a commercial composting facility. All Gaia products are also body safe, hypoallergenic, recyclable, AA battery operated and feature multiple vibration speeds.
“For the eco conscious consumer, these toys are a dream,” said Blush’s resident sex educator Ducky DooLittle. “Even for those who are not as concerned about the environmental impact of sex toys I feel confident the Gaia Vibes will drive pleasure, and start awesome conversations on the sales floor about recycling, body safe sex toys, and wellness in general.”
