Barbara Cardy, who veteran ETO readers may recall was a columnist for ETO back in 2004 when she was the force behind The Hot Spot, is now an editor for publisher Constable and Robinson and her latest title, the Mammoth Book of Gorgeous Guys, is available now.
The book showcases the work of some of the world’s leading erotic photographers, including Tom Bianchi, Vim Kruger, Michael Childers, Henning von Berg and Dianora Niccolini, and it contains over 400 images. The photographs range from details of male anatomy to portraits and the publishers say the images go well beyond the typical body builder and calendar boy variety. The book contains 480 pages and also includes profiles of the photographers.
Books of this type are usually aimed at a gay market but Cardy has aimed it at heterosexual women, and over a third of the 40+ photographers are female too. She commented: “As you can imagine, it was a hell of a chore to sift through thousands of photos of naked men…”
Barbara has previously edited the Mammoth Book of Erotic Confessions for the publisher and is also editing 36 erotic eBooks each year.
