With just over two months until it opens its doors, the 2024 edition of annual trade show Asia Adult Expo (AAE) looks set to be the biggest yet with over 13,000sqm of exhibition space confirmed.
In addition to retaining Hall FG at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year the show has also expanded into Hall 5E, making the total show area 50% larger than 2023’s event.
On the same level as Hall FG, Hall 5E will host the VIP/Buyer Lounge Area as well as additional exhibitors. Hall 5E is also equipped with private meeting rooms for exhibitors to meet with buyers: these are free to use but prior booking on site is required.
Those looking for new products should be well catered for, with around 350 exhibitors – over 35% of which will be new to the show – displaying their latest launches. Last year’s exhibitors fitted into the following categories: novelties (62%), sexual pleasure (12%), lingerie (11%), healthcare (8%), trade services (4%), and adult content (3%).
The total number of visitors to the three-day show is expected to be 4,500, with 2,700 estimated to be international attendees, mainly from America and Europe, but also including countries such as Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Russia, and South Africa. A survey of last year’s visitors revealed that 95% said that AAE had helped them source suppliers and 90% had found new business partners.
