Appointments: Pipedream appoints Kristin Calzada as new CRO

Pipedream has recruited Kristin Calzada as chief revenue officer. This is a newly developed position designed to oversee Pipedream’s sales and marketing teams with a focus on global marketing programmes that integrate both consumer preference and wholesale customer support.
Pipedream CEO Matthew Matsudaira commented: “Kristin is an inspiring and proven leader with deep expertise of the complexities in sales and marketing. She has a strong understanding of our wide range of customers and will help drive the company to execute on our aggressive future growth plans. Over her long career in senior leadership positions, Kristin has demonstrated incredible aptitude for helping customers and growing businesses into large revenue streams and we are thrilled to expand this strong skillset to the next phase of growth for Pipedream.”
Kristin has 25 years of combined experience in marketing, sales, product development, buying manufacturing, and licensing at companies including Warner Bros, Funrise Toy Corporation, and May Merchandising Company. She founded and was the vice president of the Global Gaming category for Warner Bros and created the Willy Wonka Billion Dollar Golden Ticket lottery programme. She received the Commitment and Partnership Award from Mattel for her work in developing The Dark Knight toy line and serves on the Board of Trustees for Camp Ronald McDonald of Southern California.
