Appointments: COTR recruits Shon McLean to sales team

COTR has recruited Shon McLean as its new account manager. McLean has more than 14 years of experience in the adult retail industry, with previous roles including store manager and corporate trainer for a leading store chain. COTR says that throughout her time in both positions, McLean played a vital role in driving the store’s success by increasing foot traffic with curated sex-positive events that were welcoming to all shoppers.

Despite earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, McLean was drawn to the sexual wellness sector and in 2018, she moved into a different side of the industry when she her career as a brand ambassador.

McLean says she is excited to join the COTR team and her role that will be driven by “building business excellence, brand awareness, and customer focus through integrity and honesty.”

“I wanted to join a team that promotes sexual health and accessible education on all the topics and products that people want to know about,” she said. “It’s also extremely important to me that I’m on a team that is driven and focused on meeting customer needs, while also setting high standards in the industry. COTR exemplifies all these essential qualities and I’m thrilled to be a part of the team!”

McLean says that her goal for her new role as account manager is to accomplish results and explore promotional and product opportunities with existing and new customers: “I want to be able to bring a vibe to my new role that takes our company to a level that has not been matched,” she added.

In her free time, McLean says that she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling with friends, and playing sports.
