There are big changes taking place at the Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo (ANME) this year, most notably the decision to move to a single annual event rather than twice-yearly, but the organisers are also enhancing the experience to give added value to both exhibitors and visitors.
Traditionally staged during January and July in Burbank, California, ANME will now only take place in July. “This decision follows careful consideration of industry dynamics and the desire to consolidate efforts for a larger and more impactful gathering,” the organisers said in a statement.
“The decision to shift to an annual format was motivated by a commitment to elevate the ANME experience amidst an ever-changing industry landscape,” the statement continued. “By concentrating efforts on one expansive event, ANME aims to create a focal point for innovation, networking, and business development within the adult novelty sector.”
July’s ANME will see the final day, Wednesday, extended to a full day instead of its usual half-day, offering additional time for networking and exploration, and new sponsorship opportunities will be available, providing increased visibility and prominence for participating brands. Additional space will be available in the exhibition area and nightly events are being scheduled.
Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics, said: “The July ANME show is THE show to attend. It brings together the best of the best in the world of pleasure products for a fun and prosperous event. This year’s summer show will be better than ever, with more exhibitors and more opportunities for business growth. We encourage everyone to register early to secure their spot.”
Elliott Schwartz, co-founder and CEO of Nasstoys, added: “We are all excited to see this renowned and well-attended summer event evolve into an even more beneficial showcase for vendors and buyers of pleasure products as we move into 2024.”
Chad Braverman, president and COO of Doc Johnson, commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees to the enhanced ANME Experience and to collectively shape the future of our industry.”
The next ANME event takes place from 15 – 17 July 2024 and full details can be found at www.anmefounders.com
A report from January’s ANME will be included in the Spring issue of ETO, which will be arriving in subscribers’ letterboxes very soon.
