With traditional trade shows and award ceremonies off the menu, US publication XBIZ staged a virtual awards presentation on XBIZ.net in January, hosted by clinical sexologist (and pleasure products industry favourite) Dr Sunny Rodgers.

Among the winners in the retail section were We-Vibe [Luxury Pleasure Product of the Year for Wand Massager], LELO [Luxury Brand of the Year], Le Wand [Sex Toy of the Year – Non-Powered for Arch], Cute Little Fuckers [LGBTQ+ Pleasure Product Brand of the Year], XR Brands [BDSM Pleasure Products Company of the Year], Aneros [Sexual Health & Wellness Brand of the Year], Wicked Sensual Care [Sex Lubricant of the Year for Simply Aqua], Satisfyer [International Pleasure Products Company of the Year], Shots [International Distributor of the Year], Dame Products [Boutique Pleasure Products Company of the Year], Lora DiCarlo [New Pleasure Products Company of the Year], CalExotics [Pleasure Products Company of the Year – Full Range], Exsens [Sensual Bath & Body Product of the Year for Intime Balance], Hart’s Desire [Retailer of the Year — Boutique], SPAM (Sex Professionals and Manufacturers) Facebook Group [Retail Education/Training Program of the Year], Adam & Eve [Retailer of the Year – Chain], Nalpac [Progressive Distributor of the Year], and Entrenue [Distributor of the Year – Pleasure Products].

There were also awards for individuals, and the winners included Josh Ortiz of XR Brands [Brand Ambassador of the Year], Kit Richardson of Museum of Sex [Retail Account Exec of the Year],  Stephanie Ingram of WOW Tech Group [Marketing Exec of the Year], Joey Teodoro of Shots Canada [Pleasure Product Account Exec of the Year], Paul Reutershan of Williams Trading Co. [Community Figure of the Year], David Ballow of Hustler Stores [Business Development Exec of the Year], Megan Swartz of Déjà vu [Progressive Leadership Award], Scott Watkins of Doc Johnson [Senior Leadership Award], Matthew Matsudaira of Pipedream [Chief Exec of the Year], Susan Colvin of CalExotics [Businesswoman of the Year], Joe Casella of Entrenue [Businessman of the Year], and Nanci Smith of Nanciland [WIA Woman of the Year].
