The UK will once again host an adult consumer show in September when Expo Erotica finally opens its doors. Originally scheduled for Telford in May 2020, the debut show – like so many other events at that time – was cancelled due to the UK’s coronavirus lockdowns.
It is now set for 27th – 29th September 2024 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, and the organisers have put together a packed programme to attract visitors, including workshops, catwalk shows, sex talks from a variety of experts, a fans zone, and even a B2B area.
Expo Erotica will be the most impressive adult consumer event the UK has seen since the early noughties and the glory days of the original Erotica, if the projected numbers on the show website – 300 exhibitors, 30,000 consumers, and 3,000 trade visitors – match the reality, particularly as it partly overlaps with EroFame, Europe’s largest B2B event, which takes place from 25th – 27th September 2024.
In a statement on the website, the organisers said: “As many will be aware Expo Erotica 2020 was unable to go ahead due to the pandemic, but the intention has always been to deliver a show worthy of the UK and now that the stars have aligned, everything is in place to bring you a show that is bigger, better and badder than even we ever thought was possible. Why? Because since 2020 the demand for a UK adults only show has not stopped, in fact it’s only increased, with the Expo Erotica inbox continuously inundated with emails from exhibitors old and new, along with masses of enquiries for tickets.”
The statement added that the show will feature some of the biggest brands in the industry, a runway showcasing the latest trends in latex, leather and lingerie, and VIP lounges where visitors can meet their favourite Dommes, OnlyFans, and cover girls.
It concluded: “We’ve got a fantastic array of exhibitors already on board to bring you a dazzling choice of all the latest love toys, fetish accessories, erotic fashion, furniture art and much much more – all dedicated to your pleasure, as visitors can enjoy a unique and tantalising shopping experience.”
Tickets prices range from £35 (for a single one-day ticket) to £100 (for a couple two-day ticket) though discounts will be offered to those who purchase before 1st August 2024. Click here for full details.
