The organisers of Asia Adult Expo have announced part of the speaker line-up for this year’s event, which will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre between 26 and 28 August.
More than 4,500 industry professionals are expected to attend the expo, where they’ll have the opportunity to browse stands from more than 300 exhibitors. As well as the trade fair, there’s also a concurrent speaker event, which will include talks from sexologists, as well as presentations about economic and market trends, and legal issues.
There are three scheduled speakers from Russia: Marina Pavlova, marketing director of adult products distributor Astkol-Alfa; Marina Chicheva, editor-in-chief of sexshopers.ru, and sexologist Victoria Khasanova. There will be another sexologist speaking, too: Dr Laira Ramos from Brazil.
From Thailand, Chawisa (Wendy) Chen is co-founder and CEO of Talk to PEACH, an app that anonymously connects users with sexologists for online consultations on sexual health and wellbeing. There will also be two speakers from Chinese companies – names have yet to be released, but they will be representing toy manufacturer Shenzhen Gelance Technology and AI platform metaXsire.
