Wet Personal Lubricants has teamed up with adult retailer, Hustler Hollywood, to offer themed workshops exploring the sexual activities featured in the “Fifty Shades” erotic romance trilogy by E.L. James.
Led by certified sex educator Charlie Glickman, Ph.D., the “Beyond Fifty Shades: Bringing Kink Into the Bedroom” workshops are open to the public, at no cost at the Hustler Hollywood retail store.
“Our customers’ interest in BDSM has spiked with the popularity of the ‘Fifty Shades’ books,” Carol Mendelsohn, Hustlet Hollywood entertainment director of marketing said. “As people try BDSM techniques for the first time, Hustler Hollywood stores will support consumers with not only the right tools, but also with a forum where all sexual activities can be discussed openly.”
Fans of the books, and people wishing to explore BDSM in general, are invited attend these introductory sessions, which demonstrate the practices of bondage, discipline, dominance and submission in a safe environment. Topics covered include discussing BDSM with a partner, basic techniques, sex toy usage, important safety tips and common etiquette.
“Experiencing phenomenal sexual experiences while being safe and healthy are of the utmost importance to us,” Jennifer Martsolf, vice president of marketing at Trigg said. She added, “As people experiment with intimate bedroom activities, our goal is to prepare them with expert knowledge to make their first experiences unforgettable for all the right reasons.”
