After a 2 month voting period with over 60,000 votes counted, the 2016 Paul Raymond Awards finally took place on November 3rd at Café de Paris. The event was hosted for the second year running by Dapper Laughs and co-presenting with him was Female Performer of the Year Jasmine Jae. 2016 was a good year for those on hosting duties, as red carpet and backstage interviewer Ryan Ryder also won Male Performer of the Year.

There was an array of entertainment booked for the evening, including performances from burlesque cirque outfit Cabaret Bohéme, fire breather Ella Hughes, erotic dancer Tyson Brown, and beat boxer RTIZT.  GIGGS, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Charlotte Devaney, Peltsman and DJ Ironik completed the line-up, which entertained the glittering crowd of adult industry insiders and also some notable celebrity VIP guests such as Tinchy Stryder, Lethal Bizzle, Big Narstie, and Jason Maza, star of the box office hit, Brotherhood.

There were fourteen award categories in all, as well as Jasmine Jae and Ryan Ryder respectively winning Best Male and Female Performer of the Year, Cara Brett received Mayfair Girl of the Year, Roxy Mendez took Club International Girl of the Year, Amber Jayne won Men Only Girl of the Year, and Roxie Keogh was awarded Escort Girl of the Year. Finally, Paul Raymond Girl of the Year was awarded to Stella Cox and Linsey Dawn McKenzie was the proud recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award.

Mark Hassell, head of sales and marketing for Paul Raymond Publications, said “This year’s awards were a massive success and our biggest one to date. I am still on cloud nine and want to relive the whole thing again. The feedback from sponsors, guests, winners and nominees has been overwhelming. I’d like to extend a massive thank you to all of our sponsors, without whom the awards would not have been possible, and to Café de Paris for allowing us to hold the event at such a fantastic venue.”
