The next AITA open meeting will be held at 5pm on Tuesday 24th March at Hercules Pillars – directly opposite the New Connaught Rooms – at 18 Great Queen Street, Holborn, London, WC2B 5DG. The meeting will feature a presentation by guest speaker Nick Hewson from market analysts Hewson Group.
Nick is the author of the recently published report on the future of adult retailing called Women, Sex and Shopping, and he will be giving a talk on the high potential for growth within the adult market and how firms should position their businesses to meet customers’ needs.
He will talk about comparative experience in other sectors that experienced a transition period before eventually showing high growth. He will look at trends in consumer behaviour and expectations and consider if the industry is well placed to address change, what future shape it might take and where new entrants might come from. Nick will also consider customer management techniques that may have direct relevance in meeting the challenge of an evolving market.
All AITA members are invited to bring any of their staff who they feel might benefit from Nick Hewson’s presentation. AITA open meetings are for members only, but non-members can attend the meeting if they join on the day.
