In addition to Sexpo, 2015 will also see the launch of the first ever Sexhibition, which is scheduled to take place on the 22nd of August 2015 at the Event City venue in Manchester.
Described as the first erotic exhibition of its kind, the organisers say Sexhibition will feature shows, performances, music, cinema, workshops and classes, cocktails and cuisine and a unique shopping experience. It will bring together elements of sex, erotica, the adult industry, burlesque, fetish, the BDSM and D/s lifestyle and combine it with live music, DJ sets, cabaret, film and performance art in an inclusive and sex positive environment.
According to the Sexhibition website: “During the day, our exhibitors will include purveyors of the finest lingerie, corsetry, latex, footwear and clothing – everyone from large High Street retailers to independent designers; sex toy suppliers ranging from discreet, intimate ‘self-care’ to the more adventurous and mind blowing proportions. We’ll also have exhibitors specialising in every area of BDSM and fetish, film companies, authors and well known stars from the adult industry. Throughout the day there will be perpetual entertainment; fashion shows, performances, demonstrations and opportunities to meet and greet celebrities and performers. Workshops and classes will run throughout the day. Films will be shown in our in-house bespoke cinema and food and refreshments will be served in the glamour of our various bars and dining areas.
