Lingerie distributor Alterego has unveiled a brand new website and the firm says it not only offers a range of new features, including enhanced navigation, search, and shipping options, it will also make its entire operation slicker and more streamlined while offering retail customers a better service.
Alterego MD Diane Gordon-Freeman said: “The new website has been a significant investment and has taken a very long time to develop, but we are very pleased and excited about the finished product. The site is far easier to navigate than the last one, with extra searching facilities making ordering from us even easier. One of the new features that we are pleased about is the ‘multi-ship’ facility, where a dropship retailer can place many different orders with different delivery addresses worldwide, and then make just one payment transaction. We spent a lot of time listening to our customers and getting to know what improvements they wanted to see in a new site, and we have been extremely happy with their feedback.”
Other new features include the ability for dropship buyers to upload their invoices so Alterego can despatch it with their order. The new website, which will have new products added to it on a weekly basis, can accept payments in three currencies, GB£, US$ and euros, and has enhanced social media links so Alterego will be using it to interact even further with their customers. There are also improved XML/CSV feeds for customers’ websites, giving them greater access to automatic uploading of imagery and accurate stock management.
Diane concluded: “Obviously with a website as complex as this, it is still work in progress, but we have a brilliant team working with us to sort out any of those little niggles that will occur, and existing customers will need to reset their passwords when they return to it for the first time. But there are some fantastic features and it will make our entire operation slicker and more streamlined, allowing us to give our working partners an even better service.”
