Scala Fair a great success

Scala Playhouse welcomed visitors to discover their senses during the Scala Fair this month in The Netherlands. The show, which took place over the Sunday and Monday of 9th and 10th March, had a particularly sensual theme this time around, with extra emphasis on stimulating the senses.

Visitors could taste all kinds of things like French macaroons at the KissMe booth, sparkling wine and strawberries at the Mae B booth and energy drinks from Stimul8. On the Sunday evening the visitor’s senses were treated with cocktails, a salsa band and exotic acts like limbo dancers.

The theme was found in every aspect of the fair, with games and activities in which the visitors could win all kinds of prizes. The winners of these games will be informed personally and will be presented in the May issue of Play magazine.

Suppliers from all over the world attended to present their new lines and products at the Scala Fair. Several new brands have also been added to the Scala Playhouse collection and where introduced during these days, including OhMiBod and Bijoux Indiscrets.

Next to the brand new labels and collections, Scala Playhouse proudly presented new services at the fair like the new drop shipping service and the private label possibilities. A definite eye-catcher at the fair was the new packaging for the TOYJOY Classics. These strong items now look like fun, colourful milk cartons. Show officials have said the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Berry Koldewijn: “Like always everyone at Scala Playhouse took great effort to welcome our guests at the Scala Fair. We had great responses to the way we emphasised our theme, our new offers and we had even more visitors than last time. A great sign in the market for us, because it shows that more and more retailers are interested in the way we work together with our partners and clients.”
