Satisfyer and Partner scoop four prestigious Red Dot Awards

Satisfyer and Partner have picked up more international recognition, following on from their success winning the coveted iF Design Award earlier this year. Four of the company’s designs have now received the Red Dot Award – internationally recognised as a symbol of outstanding design and quality. The four winners were the pressure wave simulators Satisfyer Pro Penguin and Satisfyer 1 as well as the couples’ vibrators Partner and Partner Plus.

The Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious design contests in the world and this year manufacturers and designers from 54 different countries vied for the prizes. The Red Dot Award dates back to 1955 and is organised by the Design Zentrum North Rhine-Westphalia. Every year the team of 39 experts from around the world who make up the Red Dot Jury look for products that set the bar in innovation, formal quality, functionality and ecological compatibility in 18 different categories.

“We are thrilled that our Satisfyer and Partner products not only stand out because of their technology and application, but also that our design strategy found admirers all over the world,” said Thorsten Helm, design manager of the brands. “The best evidence is the multiple awards given to the products although they were only launched one year ago.”

More than 5,500 products were entered in the 2017 Red Dot Award and the award ceremony will take place on Monday 3rd July 2017. Afterwards, the prize winners and guests will celebrate together in the Red Dot Design Museum in the midst of the award-winning products at the Designers’ Night. At the after-show party, the Red Dot and Honourable Mention winners will receive their certificates. Alongside the winning products, they can present themselves to the media and the design scene in the ‘Design on Stage’ exhibition.
