Rocks-Off is recruiting a new senior sales executive. The company says this is a challenging position which will demand assertive, confident, and well-structured approaches. Excellent networking and negotiation skills are prerequisites, as are organisational and prioritising skills.
The successful applicant will report to and work under the guidance of the board of directors whilst also liaising with existing and prospective clients/customers/agents, which is a key element of the role. A sound sales background is required to promote the company and its product portfolio across all continents and sectors to key decision makers and industry stakeholders.
The duties and responsibilities are as follows: liaising with and managing the existing and prospective clients/customers/agents; planning marketing campaigns and taking part in trade shows and promo events; assisting the company with business development; maintaining and producing status reports for clients/customers/agents; imparting training to junior members of the sales and marketing team; exploring new markets by identifying customer needs and market demands; willingness to travel abroad on short notice for business purposes; ability to build strong relationships both externally and internally; proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
