Scala Playhouse has announced that this week’s Extravaganza Fair had a record number of visitors. Staged on the 13th and 14th of March at the distributor’s HQ in The Netherlands, the Extravaganza Scala Fair featured presentations of new brands, free-to-enter competitions, and plenty of special offers at the Cash & Carry – in fact, sales were so brisk that the company was forced to restock it with new items on the Sunday afternoon. Deals were available on products from brands such as CalExotics, Pipedream, and Doc Johnson.
New in-house brand Get Real by ToyJoy – a range of realistic dildos and dongs – debuted at the fair, along with the Hylo and Enya vibes in the Caresse by ToyJoy Collection, and the Xeno prostate massager by ToyJoy Designer Edition. Visitors were also introduced to Fantasy Lingerie, Wicked Sensual Care, and the new Inspire range by CalExotics – which is exclusively available at Scala Playhouse. The company reports that this received a lot of attention and is expected to sell really well.
Guests were invited to attend the Scala Academy Live, which featured a new walk-in concept in the showroom’s booths, but it wasn’t all just business – visitors were treated to freshly brewed coffee, popcorn, and cotton candy, while trying to win prizes on a Lucky Crane – one visitor won a Little Platinum vibe by Jimmyjane, which has a retail value of €500 – and a punching ball. There was also a raffle to win €300 of ToyJoy products.
On the Sunday evening there was the traditional Scala Party, which this year featured entertainment from a pianist, guitarist, beatboxer, and a DJ. A full report of the event will be included in the April issue of ETO.
