Scala Playhouse has changed the name of its in-house magazine to Play, in order to better reflect its contents. The publication was formerly known as Toys but in recent months the company has added more features focused on drugstore items and lingerie, and the start of a new year was deemed the ideal time to make the name change.
A key feature in the first edition of Play focuses on drugstore lines – hence the rather provocative cover with its chemistry theme – in which must-have lubricants, stimul8ting supplements and massage products are highlighted. This issue of Play can be downloaded from here
“The new magazine is the product of many developments at Scala Playhouse and the changes in the market,” said the firm in a statement. “The last few years the product range has been greatly widened. Toys still being the most important part of the product range, lingerie and drugstore items are gaining ground in our total sales. From now on, Play Magazine will be your order manual, guide and source of inspiration.”
The next issue of Play will focus on Scala Playhouse’s Trade Fair, which takes place on 9th and 10th of March at its Almere HQ in The Netherlands, and feature exclusive previews of forthcoming products and promotions.
