No ETO Show tickets for the weekend? Don't panic, you can still join us

We’d like to think that everyone with an interest in the pleasure products sector will be aware that the 2019 ETO Show sponsored by Satisfyer will be staged this weekend – Sunday 10th and Monday 11th of March – in Hall 3 of the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Everyone who pre-registered their details at www.etoshow.com should have received their entry badges through the post by now.

But what if you haven’t? What if your badges have got lost? Or what if you didn’t even register at all? Can you still visit the UK’s only dedicated trade event for the pleasure products sector?

Absolutely.

You can just turn up on the day and register in the foyer. This is a B2B event which is not open to the public however, so please bring some form of ‘proof of trade’ with you, such as business cards, letterheads, or even just an invoice from a recognised supplier.

You can bring your staff or partner too, and they can also register at point of entry but please note that no students or persons under the age of 18 can be admitted.

Many of the industry’s leading brands and suppliers will be showcasing their latest launches, some of which have not been seen at any other trade show in the world, including the new Womanizer Duo and Moxie by We-Vibe – the latter is so fresh that not even a picture existed of it at the time of writing. Also making their debuts will be Shibari Wands’ new VooDoo collection, Skins Lubes, and a male range of lubes from System Jo called Bucked, and the special launch offer should prove irresistible for retailers.

A number of suppliers are offering discounts for orders placed at the show – up to 20% in some cases – or running prize draws, and visitors will receive a complimentary goodie bag that contains four Satisfyer products (1 x Men Vibration, 1 x Satisfyer Vibes Master, 1 x Satisfyer Traveler, and 1 x Multifun Blue) plus a copy of Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Those in the market for lingerie will have plenty to see, with Alterego, Classified Costumes, Kevco Wholesale, New Temptations, Noir Handmade, Pamela Mann Legwear, and Woosexy showcasing their collections, and non-product offerings are also pretty diverse this year, with suppliers offering everything from the launch of a new sex-positive social media platform, which the makers say is going to be a gamechanger for the industry, to adult lifestyle holidays, adult ecommerce platforms, and insurance solutions tailored to firms operating in the adult space. You can see who’s showing what, along with more details about the event, in our comprehensive preview inside this issue.

With so many suppliers in one place at one time, some of which have never exhibited at a UK trade show before, the 2019 ETO Show is undoubtedly the best place to do business this year, without leaving the country. It’s also one of the very few occasions where you can find just about everyone – customers, suppliers, and competitors – socialising over a beer or two. If you fancy joining us in the bar next to the exhibition hall, evening drinks from 8pm on Sunday will be sponsored by Net 1on1.

Although the event is primarily aimed at retailers, online stores, party planners, and other buyers of adult products, we recognise that bloggers, erotic writers, and reviewers provide an extremely valuable service to many adult brands and they, and other members of the media, will be very warmly welcomed at the show. As with all other visitors, those who have not already pre-registered should bring some form of professional ID, such as a business card or a form of correspondence with the name of their blog on.

“We believe the UK needs its own dedicated adult trade event,” said ETO publisher Lee Schofield, “and we very much look forward to seeing all our industry friends and colleagues again in a welcoming environment at a convenient location where they can do business and socialise together. We hope to see you there.”
