SHAFTA winners announced
The winners of Television X’s SHAFTA (Soft and Hard Adult Film and Television Awards) – as chosen by the satellite broadcaster’s viewers - were announced on March the 7th, to coincide with the Oscars. A night of partying on a slightly smaller scale had previously been held at the Trafalgar Tavern’s Trafalgar Club, overlooking the Thames and Docklands from Greenwich.

Business Inspector comes calling

ToyJoy set to star at Scala
Scala’s bi-annual International Trade Fair was scheduled for the first three days of March and, amongst the special offers and new product launches, the company was expecting its new ToyJoy catalogue to create one of the biggest stirs at the event.
Since ToyJoy was launched it has collected a number of awards, including Best Sex Toy Brand at the ETO awards for the last three years.
Revised AITA fee structure
AITA – the Adult Industry Trade Association – has revised its subscription criteria into four bands. With effect from 31st March 2010 the annual membership will be £100 for companies with three staff or less; £300 for those with ten staff or less; £500 for those with 50 staff or less and £1,000 for those with 51 staff or more. All bands can pay their subscription by monthly standing orders of £8.
