New, more luxurious Fifty Shades Red Room Collection launched

A new, more luxurious, range of Fifty Shades of Grey products has been unveiled by Lovehoney ahead of the film’s release next month. The Official Fifty Shades of Grey Red Room Collection includes ten limited edition pieces including a blindfold, paddle, cane, crop, flogger, wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, spreader bar, mouth gag and hog tie.

Inspired by the movie, which debuts on February 13th, the Red Room Collection is described as being handcrafted from top quality leather and will be supplied with luxury branded dust bags and leather tags. Retail prices will range between £50 and £100 and the items will be available from distributors from February.

“This luxury range of leather bondage equipment is inspired by what Christian Grey has in the Red Room in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie and has been designed with author E L James,” said Lovehoney co-founder Richard Longhurst. “It’s the real deal for anyone who wants to recreate the scenes that they’re going to see in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. It’s a collection truly fit for a billionaire.”

The Official Red Room Collection is being launched on Lovehoney’s stand at the ANME Show in LA, and the company is also debuting official in-store Point of Sale kits featuring branded Fifty Shade of Grey door hangers, window decals and slat wall displays.

Lovehoney and sister company Coco de Mer are listed as official suppliers to the legendary Red Room in the film’s credits. “As manufacturers of the only official Fifty Shades of Grey Pleasure Products we were delighted to supply Universal with products for the Red Room,” added Longhurst.
