A man who ran two unlicensed sex shops in Manchester has been jailed for four months after police and Trading Standards Officers raided the Big In Amsterdam and Film Factory outlets and seized a number of DVDs and videos.
Some of the titles seized were rated R18 and others carried no classification at all.
The offender had received a fine three years ago after committing the same offence but this time the judge said that he had no option other than to issue a custodial sentence. The man was given four three month sentences to run concurrently and one month, to run consecutively, for non-payment of fines imposed in 2005.
