Lovehoney hoping for ‘famous five’ victory

Lovehoney is looking forward to June’s ETO Show and Awards Dinner where, in total, the online sex toy firm is a finalist in five different award categories. In addition to being nominated in three retail categories – Best Online Retailer, Most Innovative Retailer and Best Individual Store for sister company Coco de Mer – its Fifty Shades of Grey brand is up for Best Fetish Products Brand and Best New Product Range (for the Red Room Collection).
Lovehoney co-owner Neal Slateford said: “We’re delighted to be nominated for so many awards. It’s always a great boost when you are recognised for your success by such a great publication and its readers. The last year has been a very exciting one.”
Lovehoney has enjoyed spectacular growth in recent years, largely thanks to obtaining the exclusive worldwide licence to manufacture official Fifty Shades of Grey sex toys and pharmacy products. Slateford said: “Winning the official Fifty Shades licence was a huge moment for Lovehoney. It has allowed us to introduce our brand to new territories all over the world. We know we can never stand still and constantly innovating is the key to our success.”
Lovehoney picked up Best Online Retailer and Most Innovative Retailer at the 2014 ETO Awards and the firm says it is hoping for an even better result this year.
