Linger Lingerie liquidated

The recession has claimed another victim from the adult industry with lingerie wholesaler Linger Lingerie going into liquidation. Friday 8th May was the last day of business for the company, which has been trading since 1980.

Linger Lingerie’s Steve West (pictured) told ETO that the primary reason for the company’s failure was its bank withdrawing the firm’s overdraft facility.

He added: “We have built up a very loyal customer base over the years and the messages of support and sympathy we have received over the last week has meant a lot to me. I’d like to thank them all for their good wishes.”

Liquidators Cranfield Business Recovery held a creditor’s meeting on Tuesday 12th May, after the assets of Linger Lingerie had been sold at auction.
