The main cover story is focused on Darker Enterprises’ ‘out of time’ appeal against a 2004 prosecution for selling R18 DVDs by mail order, in contravention of the Video Recordings Act 1984 – a law that has subsequently been proven to be unenforceable. The appeal was heard at the Royal Courts of Justice and an in-depth report on the case can be found inside the June issue.
