Jimmyjane recruits Sunny Rodgers

Jimmyjane has announced that it has recruited industry veteran Sunny Rodgers as its new category brand manager. Rodgers brings years of experience and industry knowledge to the role where she will be responsible for developing long-term marketing programmes and services to solidify Jimmyjane’s position and relationships within the marketplace.

“Jimmyjane has a terrific brand story and I have always believed in their products,” said Rodgers. “I think there is a lot of opportunity to grow the brand and establish it as the leading premium manufacturer in the industry. I am ecstatic to be joining the Diamond Products family and look forward to working with our partners to build their businesses and have some fun in the process.”

Rodgers brings over 17 years of experience in marketing and brand development to her role at Jimmyjane. She has worked on a range of businesses in both the mainstream and industry arenas and Jimmyjane says her eye for spotting market trends and proven track record of building brands will bring a unique and creative approach to the business. Through multi-channel marketing she has worked on brand licensing, product development, created an award-winning radio show, and launched mainstream marketing campaigns.

“Sunny has a strong grasp on marketing within this category and a wonderful spirit that will be a great contribution to the team,” said Robert Rheaume, president of Jimmyjane. “She is dedicated, hardworking, and extremely creative. Her ability to spot market trends and opportunities is going to take Jimmyjane to the next level in servicing our partners.”

Prior to joining Jimmyjane, Rodgers was the marketing director at Doc Johnson and co-host of an award-winning radio programme on Playboy Radio. She has also previously been marketing director at Topco, division director/director of product development at LFP (Hustler), and account executive/brand manager at NS Novelties. In January 2016, Xbiz named Rodgers its Community Figure of the Year.
