Nice ‘n’ Naughty director Simon Prescott is continuing to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Children with Leukaemia and his next challenge is to swim the English Channel. The proposed swim follows two extraordinary recent feats of fund raising.
From May 3rd to 14th Simon cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats, setting off each morning at 7am and travelling an average of 93 miles per day.
The previous month he became an Ironman after completing the Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Triathlon. This consisted of a 2.4 mile ocean swim, 112 mile bike ride followed by a marathon run of 26m and 385 yards, raced in that order and without a break, in 30c heat. Simon’s time was 13 hours 32 minutes and 6 seconds.
