The trailer for one of the most ambitious adult productions ever released – Digital Playground’s Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge – will be released on Tuesday September 9th, with the theatrical premiere and street date of the film itself following [in the US] on September 27th.
The red carpet premiere will be at a secret location and admittance will be by invitation only. The film’s stars include: Jesse Jane, Shay Jordan, Katsuni, Stoya, Riley Steele, Gabriella Fox, BellaDonna, Sasha Grey, Jenna Haze, Brianna Love, Abbey Brooks, Shawna Lenee, Rhylee Richards, Brea Lynn, Shyla Stylez, and Veronica Rayne.
Pirates II is a four disc set, shot in 1080, which comes with a host of extras including extended scenes, bonus scenes, Making Of featurettes, interviews, slide shows, casting calls and bloopers.
To promote the release, Digital Playground has been running a retail competition in its US homeland, in which stores compete for prizes by creating the most dynamic instore Pirates displays. Stores can upload images of their displays to the Pirates II website and visitors will be invited to vote for the best. The grand prize is $10,000, second prize is $5,000, and third prize is $2,500 – other prizes, including signed copies of the new movie on Blu-ray and DVD, and signed posters, will also be available.
