Friday 1st June 2012 was a hot night for the adult scene in central London, as more than 800 guests of the annual Summer OlympiXXX party revelled until early morning. Hosted at the popular gentlemen’s club, Platinum Lace, the event saw adult stars gather en masse alongside industry insiders and readers of Paul Raymond magazines. VIP attendees included some of the industry’s most sought after stars, such as Gemma Massey, Angel Long, Dean Van Damme, Mai Bailey and fan favourites like Kacie James, Chloe Lovette, Roxy Mendez and Axa Jay.
The party, which was sponsored by Annabelle’s Promise, iPure TV & Your Choice, proved to be a night the ‘King of Soho’ himself would have been proud of, with stage entertainment by adult stars Samantha Bentley and Crystal Coxxx, who dazzled guests with scintillating feature dances throughout the night. Britain’s Got Talent’s burlesque sensation Beatrix Von Bourbon, also performed two acts.
“We were again thrilled with the massive turn-out of adult stars, industry professionals and readers,” said Mark Hassell, advertising and marketing manager for Paul Raymond Publications, calling the feedback from the event “a great reaction to a truly great brand.”
A networking as well as a social event, the party provided veterans as well as industry newcomers the chance to expand their professional contact list: “A really fantastic group of people. What I enjoyed most was being able to catch up with industry friends and make some new ones too,” said adult film producer, Big Bad Dave.
Also attending were many industry professionals from companies such as Television X, Playboy TV, Anywhere.XXX and Harmony Films, making the Summer OlympiXXX party the perfect place to be seen for anyone wanting to further their career in adult entertainment. Roxy Mendez in particular seems to have had a fantastic night of “Good music, good entertainment and great people. I really enjoyed everything,” said the popular porn star and adult model.
“This is their third party here and they just keep getting better and better,” said Paul Kennedy, director of PR and marketing for Platinum Lace. The countdown now begins for a fantastic OlympiXXX 2013.
