Former Chelsea goalie opens adult boutique

A new adult boutique opened in Swindon last week and the surprise guest at the launch was Rhys Evans, the Swindon-born goalkeeper who started his career at Chelsea and went on to play for Blackpool, Millwall and his home town club. The new store, called Provocative Pleasures, has been trading successfully online for several years and its bricks and mortar outlet is located on Swindon’s Rodbourne Road. The boutique stocks a varied range of products, from corsets to lingerie, fancy dress, swimwear and adult toys.

Evans spoke to guests who attended the evening to sample, try and buy the lingerie, swimwear and adventurous accessories and he introduced a range of new Shisha Sticks – products designed to provide the finest smoking experience without any harmful toxins.

Triona Sturges, manager of Provocative Pleasures said: “It was very rewarding to see so many women interested in the products, but also having a fun filled relaxing evening at the same time. It just proved that sex is fun and natural and that in a comfortable environment people are open to discussing it. With our first boutique now open, it’s set to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome, and can feel totally comfortable delving into their inner desires.”
