ETO Show exhibitors: Shoes By Emma

This new company focuses on larger sized ladies’ shoes with the intention to supply the transgender community and ladies with larger feet. The shoes are size 8-12. Company founder Andrew Hughes, who will be dressed as his alternative identity Emma during the show, told us: “Emma Shoes came about because I found it intolerably difficult finding large size, decent looking shoes at an affordable price. Shoes that were available were either too expensive or poor quality. It was suggested by my wife that I sold my own – so I did. When dressed as Emma, everything I do is about elegance, class, style and glam. Indeed I am known as a Glam Queen. I do not think it is a recognised title and I suspect I am the first Tgirl to be named as such but I am so extrovert as Emma that I am happy with the title. The point I am making is that the shoes are designed to reflect the same qualities I live by as Emma and I hope they will be a success and in years to come, will be seen as the designer brand of the transgender world and also a brand that ladies with large feet also see as their first point of call for glamorous shoes. So far the feedback from women has been excellent but the TG world has yet to see them.”
